Thank you for visiting our team page! You are very welcome to have a look around our website and find out more about how we work. On this page you will find a little more information about what it means to work with us, and how to apply to become part of our team if you decide it is for you!

Please note that at the moment we are looking for UK based HCPC Registered Physiotherapists.

We are also interested in hearing from BASRAT registered rehabilitation therapists as we start to consider competency based recruitment.

Take a look at our Person Specification – we do realise that the ideal person with all these skills does not exist – so we are not expecting you to be able to fulfil every section! We are looking for forward thinking people with the right approach and the capacity to learn and desire to help our clients to reach their full potential.

Step 3

Apply! Please email us and send the following:

  1. A recent CV (including details of your CPD activity in the last 5 years)
  2. Confirmation of eligibility to work in the UK – HCPC number, and CSP number.
  3. ENSURE you add a covering statement in your email about why you are interested in joining us and why you are suitable – please include how you would fulfil aspects of our person specification. (link at the bottom of Step 2)

If we do not have this information we will be unable to process your application and will come back to you to ask for this information before we can proceed. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

What happens after that?

Once we receive your application we will acknowledge receipt by email. We will then review your application. If we think you would be suitable for our team we will contact you and ask you to complete a Pre-Interview questionnaire – this is not a pass or fail test, but it helps us to understand more about your current knowledge and experience in relation to how Designed2Move works. If your questionnaire is satisfactory we will then be in touch to invite you to an online interview – to ask you a bit more about yourself and your experience, and to tell you a bit more about what we do and how we do it.  We will ask you to present a clinical case study as part of the online interview.

Then, if we are happy and you are happy, we will start the process of bringing you onto the team. This will require you to send us some further information including the names of two referees that we can contact. The sooner we have all this information, the sooner we can make you available to our customers and send you cases! Once you are part of the team you will be given plenty of support and guidance for the work that is new to you.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Risk Management

From 18th March 2020, due to the Corona Virus situation in the UK we brought in some risk management measures to help protect our clients and clinicians as far as is reasonably possible during this time. In order to align with government guidelines on social distancing, we took the difficult decision, based on clients, customers and clinicians views, to cease face to face appointments from 18th March until further notice. We will however be offering everyone the opportunity to continue with remote sessions (through online or telephone consultations), so that no one is left without support during this challenging time.

As of 20th June 2020 we are reviewing the current government guidance with a view to planning when we may be able to resume some face to face consultations. This will be undertaken carefully and on a case by case basis with consent from all parties. If you require further information at this time please email us via the contact page.

If you are taken ill with symptoms of the virus (fever, cough, breathing difficulties, new muscle aches and pains) before your clinician calls you, please contact us as soon as possible to enable us to let your clinician know you are unwell, and to schedule to call you when you are likely to be feeling better.
